Flowering Cactus Plants Framed Seaglass Art
For the minimalist, two tiny flowering cactus plants. Featuring a small very rare piece of red seaglass. Seaglass found on the shores of Cape Breton Island, Canada. The pottery pieces are from the shores of Scotland.
Please note colors may look different when viewing in different light. Seaglass, as with any glass illuminates in bright light. Placing your art close to a window or a light source always helps bring out the colors of the glass.
What is seaglass?
Seaglass originates as pieces of glass from broken bottles, broken tableware, or even shipwrecks, which are rolled and tumbled in the ocean for years until all of their edges are rounded off, and the slickness of the glass has been worn to a frosted appearance. The seaglass collected for this art was tumbled in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and also found on the beaches of Scotland.
